As we waddled along the Lumbardhi River in Prizren, we followed the riverside from the Old Stone Bridge towards the other side of the old town. The Lumbardhi River flows down from the Sharr Mountains and runs directly through the heart of Prizren before joining the White Drin River system, one of the most important river networks in Kosovo. The river has shaped the city for centuries, giving Prizren much of its charm and relaxed atmosphere today. While wandering along the riverside paths, we came across a random tree near the water that felt like the perfect, unexpected hiding place, so, of course, we tucked another penguin stone there during our Prizren adventure.
