We came across the Agim (Avdi) Shala monument, a memorial dedicated to a locally significant figure. The statue stands as part of Prizren’s wider tradition of public monuments that reflect the city’s modern history and the people connected to Kosovo’s cultural and social identity, often placed in open urban spaces where locals and visitors naturally pass by during their walks. As we continued exploring, we tried to find a spot on or around the statue to hide a penguin stone, but it wasn’t really possible to place it there safely. So instead, we chose a tree right next to the monument, attempting to tuck it into the branches. The stone slipped deeper than expected and fell into a hollow in the trunk, so our penguin stone is now hidden inside the tree itself, just beside the monument.
