At Hotel Jadran in Neum, we had a little break after crossing the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina, grabbed a coffee, and used the stop to slow down for a bit. Just below the hotel, if you wander down the stairs and look around the trees, we also hid a penguin stone tucked away near one of them, leaving a small surprise close to the coastline.

An interesting fact about Hotel Jadran is that Neum is actually Bosnia and Herzegovina’s only coastal town, so hotels like this are unique in the country, sitting right on a narrow stretch of Adriatic shoreline that separates Croatian territory.
