The Crooked Bridge was our very first stop in Mostar, and it instantly set the tone for the city. Often seen as a smaller version of the famous Stari Most, this elegant stone bridge dates back to the 16th century and was actually used as a kind of test model for the larger bridge nearby. Spanning a quiet part of the river, it feels more hidden and peaceful, giving you a chance to take in the historic atmosphere without the crowds. As we explored the area, we also found a spot in the stone wall and hid a penguin stone there, marking the start of our time in Mostar.
