After exploring Skopje Fortress, we made our way back down. We reached the second parking lot area, where we came across a sturdy stone wall that felt like another perfect hidden spot. The wall had that quiet, overlooked feel, making it ideal for leaving one more penguin stone tucked away before continuing our journey. From there, we started heading towards the old part of the city to explore the nearby bazaar.
An interesting fact is that Skopje is known for its dramatic mix of Ottoman, Byzantine, and modern architecture, all existing side by side due to its long and often turbulent history.
