At the entrance of Skopje Fortress, also known as Kale Fortress, we found a perfect little moment to pause and explore. Right by the entry point, there were clusters of rocks with a wide open view. This spot turned out to be ideal for placing another penguin stone. Hidden among the rocks near the entrance, it felt like a quiet marker left behind in a place that has already witnessed centuries of stories. The view made it even more special. An interesting fact about Skopje Fortress is that it is one of the oldest structures in the city, with origins dating back to the 6th century during the Byzantine Empire. It remains one of the best viewpoints in Skopje, especially at sunset when the entire city glows beneath it.
