The Perast Sign in Perast is one of those simple but iconic photo stops that mark your arrival in this quiet Bay of Kotor town, framed by mountains, stone houses, and calm Adriatic waters. Perast itself has a long maritime history, once serving as an important Venetian naval outpost, and today it feels like a peaceful open-air museum where every corner reflects its seafaring past. While we waited for the bus, we tucked a penguin stone underneath a stone near the sign.
