The Franjevačka Crkva u Mostaru is one of the most striking landmarks in Mostar, known for its tall bell tower that rises high above the city skyline. The tower is one of the tallest in Bosnia and Herzegovina, making it a prominent landmark from many parts of Mostar and offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding mountains. The church itself reflects the strong Franciscan presence in the region. It adds another layer to Mostar’s diverse cultural and religious history. While exploring the area, we also found a spot nearby to hide a penguin stone, leaving another small trace of our journey in the city. Look for a bush across the street.
