Macedonian Village is a recreated cultural settlement near Skopje that showcases traditional Macedonian rural architecture, with stone and wooden houses designed to reflect how villages looked across the country for centuries. These homes feature thick stone ground floors for stability and insulation, with upper wooden levels used for living spaces, a style shaped by local climate and Ottoman-era building traditions. Right after entering the village gate, we wandered into a narrow alley framed by old houses on both sides, making it a perfect photo spot and a great place to see this traditional architecture up close. As we continued exploring, we found a quiet corner along the stone structures. We left another penguin stone hidden there, blending into the historic atmosphere of the village.
