Dunguaire Castle is a 16th-century tower house, beautifully set along the shores of Galway Bay, and was once linked to the legendary King Guaire, known for his generosity. Today, it’s famous for its medieval banquets and literary connections, having hosted poets from the Irish Literary Revival.
