Listowel Castle is a striking 16th-century castle in County Kerry, built by the powerful Fitzmaurice family. Though partially ruined, it showcases classic Irish tower-house architecture, with tall stone walls, narrow windows, and a sense of medieval history that transports you back in time. As  lk_lh_15 and loborosh explored and wandered through its atmospheric ruins, they managed to hide a tiny penguin stone, leaving a playful little secret for future visitors to discover.
