Bojnice’s rotunda in Bojnice, Slovakia, is a charming circular structure that adds to the fairy tale feel of the castle grounds. Rotundas like this were often inspired by early Romanesque architecture and symbolized harmony and eternity with their rounded design. While we waddled around the castle area, this cute little rotunda was too charming to resist, so of course, we waddled around it. We tucked a tiny penguin stone into its walls, leaving behind our own playful little secret.
