Prizren Fortress offers one of the best viewpoints above Prizren, sitting around 150 meters above the city with panoramic views over the old town, river, and the surrounding Sharr Mountains. The fortress dates back over 1,000 years, with origins linked to Byzantine and later Ottoman periods, reflecting its long strategic importance. During our visit, we also found a quiet spot along the walls. We left another penguin stone, adding it to this historic hilltop location. And it is one of the golden ones.
