Macedonian Village opens with a traditional-style entrance gate that immediately sets the tone for the whole site, leading into a recreated settlement of stone and wooden houses inspired by historic Macedonian villages. The gate feels like a gateway to a different time, where rural architecture and cultural heritage come together in one place near Skopje. Right by the entrance, we made a quick stop and left another penguin stone, marking the beginning of our walk through the village.
