Right next to the Old Bazaar, we wandered into a pedestrian zone near Skanderbeg Square and the Monument of Skanderbeg. The area had benches and seating areas where people relaxed and gathered, creating a lively yet peaceful atmosphere in the middle of the city. Near the square, we spotted an unusual white metal structure with angled shapes that immediately caught our attention. Hidden inside the construction, we left another penguin stone behind before continuing our walk through Skopje.
An interesting fact is that Skanderbeg was a 15th-century Albanian military leader famous for resisting the expansion of the Ottoman Empire for more than two decades, becoming one of the most celebrated historical figures in the Balkans.
