On our way out of Mostar, we stopped once more by the Crooked Bridge, this time finding a quiet stone wall nearby, partly covered in greenery, that felt like the perfect last spot. The bridge itself dates back to the 16th century. It is believed to have served as a test version of the famous Stari Most, making it an important part of the city’s architectural history. Before leaving, we tucked a penguin stone into the leafy wall, adding one final hidden detail to our time in Mostar.
