At the Arboretum Mlyňany SAV in Slovakia, we went to see it for ourselves. We spent time waddling along its many peaceful paths, surrounded by a rich collection of trees from all over the world. Founded in 1892, the arboretum is one of the oldest in Central Europe. It is home to hundreds of rare and exotic species. As we explored, we reached a quiet crossing. We decided to leave a tiny penguin stone tucked into a tree there at a crossing, adding a playful little secret to this beautifully diverse natural space.
