Room and Amenities

We enjoyed one of their Executive Rooms on the 21st floor during our stay. It was a perfect blend of modern luxury and comfort, the room provided breathtaking views of Istanbul’s skyline through its expansive windows, which also filled the space with natural light.

The room was spacious and impeccably clean. The bedding with a goose-down duvet ensured a restful sleep, while the blackout curtains and reading lights added comfort. The furnishings include a well-appointed work desk, an interactive LCD TV with satellite channels, and an electronic safe for convenience.

The in-room amenities feature a fully stocked minibar, a water heater for coffee or tea, an iron, bathrobes, and slippers for a cozy stay. The bathroom was equipped with premium toiletries, and the central ventilation system with manual controls allowed us to personalize the room’s temperature.

Overall, it was very silent in the room, especially during the night, which ensured a good night’s sleep. And also something extra was when we found under the bed a paper stating: “Yes, we clean here too.” That was cool.

Breakfast

Alright, let’s start with breakfast. As you know, this is our most important meal in each hotel. And the breakfast at Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent did not disappoint. It is a truly indulgent experience, set in a big, elegantly designed dining area that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast buffet at Plaza 177 was extensive and catered to all tastes. You can find a lavish spread of traditional Turkish delights and international favorites here. You can savor an authentic Turkish breakfast with freshly baked simit, a variety of cheeses, honeycomb, olives, and flavorful menemen (Turkish-style scrambled eggs with tomatoes and peppers). The buffet also boasts an array of delicious sweets, from flaky baklava to soft and syrupy şekerpare, alongside international staples such as pancakes, omelets, and a selection of cereals. Every dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients, ensuring a high-quality and mouthwatering start to the day with a variety of freshly squeezed juices, aromatic teas, and expertly brewed coffee. We fully approve of it.

The service at breakfast is exceptional, with waiters working quickly and efficiently to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for every guest. They promptly approach tables to take drink orders, offering freshly brewed coffee, teas, and refreshing water, which they bring directly to you. Additionally, you can order freshly prepared egg dishes cooked to your preference, whether a classic omelet, scrambled eggs, or others. The attentive staff ensures that every request is met with a smile, making the breakfast experience delicious and enjoyable.

Apart from breakfast, you can find a variety of dining experiences at Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent across its multiple on-site restaurants. 

• The signature Carême Restaurant serves artfully presented Turkish, Ottoman, and international cuisine in an avant-garde setting. 
• Vertice Café & Brasserie offers indoor and al fresco dining options for lighter fare and beverages, making it ideal for business lunches or casual meals. 
• The All Day Dining Lounge also caters to special events with a menu that includes Turkish and international favorites. These diverse dining venues ensure that guests can enjoy a range of culinary options without leaving the comfort of the hotel.

Lobby

The hotel has lots to explore, and many amenities are available on the premises. We enjoyed, for example, spending some time in the hotel’s elegant waiting area in the lobby. The ceiling is enormous, and you are struck by its inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. Modern, comfortable seating arrangements allow us to relax in style while taking in the surroundings. We also enjoyed the large windows that offered breathtaking views of the vibrant Levent district. There was a nice balance between luxury and functionality, with plenty of space for individuals and groups to relax, have informal meetings, or wait for someone.

Spa

The hotel also offers extensive spa and wellness facilities at Qualitasspa Wellness Center, which spans 5,500 square meters.  You can indulge in premium spa treatments that modernize traditional Turkish bath culture. The center features outdoor and indoor pools, allowing for year-round swimming experiences. The spa area will again take you into another world, and you will feel royal. It is spacious and has lots of opportunities to chill, from a Turkish bath to a jacuzzi. Everyone can find something for themselves. Note that for the swimming pool, you need to have a swim cap, which you can also purchase on-site.

Gym

The hotel also has a spacious gym with high-tech cardio and strength-training machines. Additionally, the facility includes a spacious outdoor sports area spanning 2,400 square meters, complete with a 200-meter running track, providing a unique opportunity to exercise in the fresh air while enjoying city views. Whether you prefer weight training, endurance workouts, or functional exercises, the gym at Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent caters to all fitness levels, ensuring a premium wellness experience.

Others

Apart from those, Wyndham Grand Istanbul Levent also offers an in-house hairdresser, providing professional hair care and styling services for guests looking to refresh their look. Or, if you are interested in luxury self-care products, the hotel features a boutique shop with high-quality towels and spa essentials, allowing you to bring relaxation home with them.
