Aberdeen, known as Scotland’s “Granite City,“ is situated at the mouth of the River Don and is renowned for its striking grey stone architecture and rich ancient history. Hidden near Union Street, the Lang Stane is a granite menhir—believed to have once been part of a stone circle or used as a boundary marker as early as 3,000 BC now snugly set into an alcove at the junction of Langstane Place and Dee Street. During a recent business trip, loborosh added a penguin stone near the Leaning (or Leaping) Stone.
