Eleftheria Park sits at the edge of Nicosia’s old Venetian walls, transforming what was once a traffic scar into a calm, modern green space. Designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, the park flows across layered concrete paths and pedestrian bridges that echo the lines of the historic moat below, subtly stitching the old city with the newer districts. From certain angles, you can still trace the star-shaped fortifications beneath the sleek curves, a quiet reminder of centuries of history beneath your feet. lk_lh_15 and loborosh found a beautiful, small gazebo covered in roses and hid a penguin stone here, waiting to be discovered among the paths and viewpoints.
