On a beautiful Saturday autumn morning, we headed out for a waddle in the Little Carpathians to enjoy some of the last golden colors of the season. The forest was quiet, the air crisp, and the leaves still glowing in shades of orange and yellow. As always, we brought along one of our penguin stones, and this time, we hid it close to the blue trail. I say close because at one point we took a wrong turn and had to make our own little “shortcut” through the woods to find our way back. Somewhere along that detour, surrounded by fallen leaves and the calm of the forest, our penguin found its new home. We found a tree that is perfect for it, in the middle of nowhere.
