The Little Carpathians are one of Slovakia’s most accessible yet surprisingly wild mountain ranges, stretching from Bratislava towards Trnava and offering endless forest trails, quiet meadows, and hidden viewpoints. On one of our hikes here, surrounded by tall trees and that familiar forest calm, we started leaving penguin stones behind as small Lifeguin surprises for future hikers. This random tree along the trail became extra special, as it marked the very first penguin stone we placed on this adventure, the beginning of several little penguin treasures hidden throughout the Little Carpathians.
