Lozorno Reservoir is a peaceful water reservoir on the edge of the Little Carpathians, popular with locals for walks, cycling, fishing, and quiet moments in nature. Built primarily as a water supply reservoir, it is surrounded by dense forests that give the area a calm, almost secluded feel despite being close to Bratislava. An interesting fact is that the reservoir lies near historic trade routes that once connected villages on both sides of the mountains, making this area important long before the dam existed. We waddled a little along the reservoir shore, enjoying the reflections on the water, and eventually found the perfect tree where we decided to leave a penguin stone hidden within it, ready to surprise the next curious wanderer who passes by.
