Waddling through the Secret Garden in Changdeokgung feels like stepping into a calm world far from the noise of central Seoul. This royal garden was once reserved only for kings and queens, and an interesting fact is that more than three hundred species of plants grow here, some as old as the palace itself. One of the most beautiful spots is the quiet path near an old tree close to Gwallamjeong with branches that stretch wide over the pond. Somewhere close to that very tree, our penguin stone now waits to be found, adding a small modern secret to this historic place. It’s beneath the rocks.
