The hike toward the Kallur Lighthouse in Trøllanes, Faroe Islands, is one of the most iconic waddles you can take on the islands. Starting from the small village, the trail leads you across open grassy ridges with sweeping views of the sea and surrounding cliffs, often with puffins darting above. The path is not marked, but it is well-trodden, taking around 45–60 minutes each way, depending on the weather. It’s not a challenging hike, but the cliffs are steep and require caution, especially on windy days. Along the way, we added our own little touch by hiding a penguin stone inside a random rock, waiting to surprise whoever stumbles upon it during their waddle to this breathtaking lighthouse.
