Right in the heart of Pezinok lies the Castle Park, a green escape that once formed part of the noble Pálffy family estate. Today, the park is open to the public and offers shady alleys, centuries-old trees, and a peaceful pond that reflects the castle walls. One of the most interesting facts is that the park is home to some rare tree species, including the impressive ginkgo biloba, which is often called a living fossil because it dates back to the time of dinosaurs. During our stroll, we couldn’t resist leaving a little surprise of our own — one of our penguin stones now rests in the hollow of a tree, waiting to be discovered by a curious explorer.
