White Cross (Biely kríž) is one of the most popular and well-known hiking crossroads in the Little Carpathians, just above Bratislava. This forest clearing has long served as a meeting point for hikers, cyclists, and cross-country skiers, thanks to its easy access and network of marked trails leading in several directions. The name “White Cross” comes from the wooden cross that once stood here, marking the spot in the middle of dense forests. Biely kríž has been a traditional rest stop for decades, with a mountain hut offering simple refreshments, making it a classic destination for weekend waddles from the city into nature.

On one of their hikes, lk_lh_15 and loborosh brought a penguin stone along with them to Biely kríž. They carefully left it hidden in a tree near the trail, adding another small Lifeguin surprise for a future hiker to discover during their forest adventure.
