Just a regular tree trunk along the waddling trail at Štrbské Pleso, the kind you’ll see plenty of as you circle the lake. Nothing marked, nothing special, just part of the natural High Tatras scenery shaped by wind, snow, and time. And that’s exactly why it fits the penguin stones spirit so well. On their waddle, luciakontsek and loborosh carried a penguin stone and left it tucked inside the tree trunk. This isn’t the first penguin stone hidden around Štrbské Pleso, and it likely won’t be the last. If you’re wandering the trail, keep your eyes open. Sometimes penguins choose the most ordinary places to rest.
