Park Mlaka is one of Rijeka’s oldest green oases, dating back to the 19th century when it was designed as a landscaped park for workers of the nearby oil refinery. Today, it’s a peaceful escape filled with exotic trees, fountains, and winding paths that locals use for strolls and relaxation. An interesting fact is that many of the trees here were brought from abroad and planted more than a century ago, making the park feel like an open-air botanical collection. And for fellow treasure hunters, loborosh secretly hid a penguin stone behind this very park, waiting for a lucky finder to waddle by.
