Vrbické Pleso is a glacial lake and a national natural monument, known as the largest natural lake in the Low Tatras. It rests at an altitude of 1,113 meters in the upper western part of the Demänovská Valley, formed after a glacier retreated from the northern slopes of Chopok and Dereše. Surrounded by spruce forests and mountain trails, it’s a peaceful retreat in the heart of Jasná’s recreational area. During their visit, our friends @avi_and_iva and @evulienka1965 brought a penguin stone and left it behind, in its new home. Chillin’.
