Nad Bytom, tucked deep in Kôprová dolina within TANAP (Tatra National Park), is one of those quietly magical mountain spots that hikers often pass without realising its story. This area lies in one of the most protected parts of the High Tatras, where strict conservation rules help preserve pristine alpine forests, glacial valleys, and wildlife like chamois and marmots. An interesting fact is that Kôprová dolina is one of the few valleys in the Tatras where nature has been allowed to regenerate almost entirely on its own, making it a living example of true wilderness protection in Slovakia. During their adventure, luciakontsek and loborosh carried a penguin stone along the trail and hid it right here, adding a tiny Lifeguin touch to this vast mountain landscape. If you want to find it, keep your eyes open near the wooden sign.
