The Three Sisters of Glencoe rise dramatically from the valley floor, their rugged peaks sculpted by ancient volcanic activity and glacial erosion. You can find them in the heart of Glen Coe in the Scottish Highlands, this iconic trio—Beinn Fhada, Gearr Aonach, and Aonach Dubh—stands between two remnants of long-extinct volcanoes, creating a landscape that feels both wild and sacred. Mist often clings to their slopes, adding a haunting beauty that draws both hikers, photographers, and dreamers. The surrounding glen tells tales of geologic upheaval and clan history, making the Three Sisters a natural wonder and a living piece of Scotland’s soul. We stopped here for a short break to seep in the beauty and leave a penguin stone behind. It is located at the viewpoint stop hidden among the small stone wall.
