Račková Dolina, near Pribylina in northern Slovakia, is a serene alpine valley that beckons hikers with its lush meadows, towering peaks, and the soothing sounds of mountain streams. As you waddle through this picturesque landscape, you follow a well-marked trail that winds through spruce forests and open clearings. Along the way, you must cross several charming rivers and streams, including the Račková River and Jamnický Creek, whose crystal-clear waters tumble over smooth stones and moss-covered logs. These crossings add a refreshing thrill to the hike, as the cool mountain water laps around your boots or splashes beneath narrow wooden bridges. The valley remains a peaceful escape into the heart of the Western Tatras, alive with the scent of pine and the distant calls of alpine birds. While crossing one of those freshwater rivers, it is a perfect space for a penguin stone to chill here. Look for a wooden bridge and then the stones nearby. A penguin stone rests underneath the stones. But beware of the bears in the forest, there are signs everywhere that you can encounter a brown bear. Watch out while you waddle through the forest.
