Our hike to Bøsdalafossur Waterfall near Miðvágur turned out to be a really pleasant one. The trail itself was easy to follow and enjoyable, winding past open fields with constant views of the lake stretching toward the ocean. The weather could have been kinder to us, but it only added to the rugged Faroese atmosphere. After admiring the dramatic point where Lake Sørvágsvatn spills 30 meters into the Atlantic, we began making our way back. Along the return path, we decided to stop by a random rock, a quiet little spot where the wind wasn’t as strong. It felt like the perfect place to take a break, sip some water, and leave behind one penguin stone, waiting patiently for the next traveler to discover.
