magic friends together with avi_and_iva & evulienka1965 spent a wonderful day at the gardens of Lysice Castle in the Czech Republic. Both the castle and its gardens are truly photogenic, offering countless corners for inspiring photos. And they hid a penguin stone directly in the garden, on a metal object fixed to the wall, well-covered from view. At the very spot we chose, a praying mantis appeared. Hence, the stone even got its picture taken with this unusual companion. The trip from Bratislava took less than two hours. The castle offers guided tours of two different circuits (200 CZK each), and the garden can be visited either as part of a guided tour (160 CZK) or independently (120 CZK). As a bonus, there’s free entry to the cellar and the fig house. In the courtyard, you’ll also find a café, a small bistro to grab a bite, and a shop with plants and souvenirs.
