Trælanípa, often called the Slave Cliff, is one of the most dramatic viewpoints on Vágar Island in the Faroe Islands. From this towering rock wall, you get the famous illusion of Lake Sørvágsvatn floating high above the ocean. This sight has become one of the country’s most iconic postcards. The cliff’s name comes from an old legend that slaves were once pushed from here into the sea below, giving the place both beauty and a haunting story. And thanks to luciakontsek and loborosh, you will find a penguin stone at this spot.
