This is a very special placement of a very special stone. There will be only a few golden penguin stones; the first one is located on Bled Island, in the heart of Lake Bled in Slovenia. It is a small, enchanting isle steeped in history and natural beauty. Accessible by traditional wooden boats known as “pletna,” this island is home to the iconic Church of the Assumption, which features a 99-step staircase leading up to its picturesque bell tower. According to local tradition, ringing the bell and making a wish is said to bring good luck. The island also boasts lush greenery, charming walking paths, and panoramic views of the surrounding Julian Alps and Bled Castle. You can find the golden penguin stone hidden on the lower left part of the statue of Holy Mary. She is now guarding it. When you waddle there, you will also get a beautiful view.
