“The Tombs” in Coatbridge’s Drumpellier Estate is a quiet, hidden spot with a lot of history. Tucked away in Tombs Park, it was once the burial place for the Buchanan family, who owned the estate. You’ll spot a stone archway marking the old entrance, now surrounded by trees and walking paths. Nearby, ancient Bronze Age burials were also found, adding to the area’s deep historical roots. Today, it’s a peaceful place for a stroll, with a slightly eerie charm and a glimpse into Coatbridge’s past. During a business trip, loborosh added a penguin stone near the tombs.
