Reinebringen, near the fishing village of Reine in Norway’s Lofoten Islands, is one of the most iconic and breathtaking hiking spots in the country. The trail to the summit, known as Reinebringen, features approximately 2,000 stone steps built by Sherpas from Nepal, leading hikers up over 400 meters of elevation gain in just 1.1 kilometers. Our friends magicandfriends set out to conquer the steps, but soon they realized it was steep as hell—no railings, no mercy, just raw rock, and gravity. The view from the top is worth it, offering a surreal panorama of Reinefjorden and the surrounding peaks, especially on clear days. But be warned: the openness and sheer drop-offs can be terrifying. One hiker nearly passed out from the fear of heights; it’s that intense 😅. Still, for thrill-seekers and mountain lovers, Reinebringen is an unforgettable experience. And now, a penguin stone also hides here. Hidden among the stones.
