Urquhart Castle Docks, located on the shores of Loch Ness next to Urquhart Castle, offer a stunning gateway to one of the country’s most iconic landmarks. From these docks, you can embark on scenic boat tours across the mysterious Loch Ness, famously linked to the legend of the Loch Ness Monster. The docks provide a breathtaking view of the castle ruins, which sit dramatically on a rocky promontory overlooking the water. Close to where you board the boat, is a tree and in its trunk at the ground a penguin stone resides. Hidden underneath some greenery.
