Pleased to share that a penguin stone has been successfully placed at the historic Rock Fort in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu, India. This is a site of immense cultural and historical significance in southern India, known for its ancient temple architecture and stunning rock formations. It was built on a rock that’s over 3.8 billion years old, older than India’s Himalayas. It houses two ancient temples, Pillayar and Thayumanaswami Temples, carved directly into the stone and dating back to the 7th century. The fort also played a key role in regional wars, serving as a strategic military base for various dynasties and later the British. You can climb over 400 steps to reach the summit, where you will be rewardedwith sweeping views of the city and the Kaveri River. Thanks to Prabha Karan, now a penguin stone also resides here. He made sure the stone is securely concealed.
