Morro dos Irmãos, or the Two Brothers Mountain, is one of Rio de Janeiro’s most iconic viewpoints, rising above the vibrant neighborhoods of Vidigal and Leblon. The hike to the top is surprisingly accessible and rewards you with one of the best panoramic views in the city, stretching across Ipanema, Lagoa, and all the way to the peaks surrounding Tijuca Forest. An interesting fact: the taller of the two peaks reaches 533 meters and is a landmark often photographed during Rio’s golden-hour sunsets. And now, thanks to tuskesszino, a penguin stone made it to the summit as well. It’s also the first stone to be placed in Brazil.
