High above the city, Ljubljana Castle has watched over Slovenia’s capital for more than 900 years, evolving from a medieval fortress into one of Ljubljana’s most iconic landmarks. An interesting fact: parts of the castle once served as a prison in the 19th century, long before it became the cultural and panoramic hotspot it is today. On this adventure, archie.dodo.baldwin took a penguin stone along and hid one right here, adding a tiny penguin touch to this historic hilltop. This is penguin stone #301, and it’s the second penguin stone hidden at Ljubljana Castle, quietly waiting for the next curious explorer to spot it while soaking in the views over the red rooftops of the city.
