Devil’s Hill, or Čertov Kopec, is a less frequented peak within the Little Carpathians mountain range in Slovakia, offering a more secluded hiking experience. Situated near Kuchyňa, it’s the fourth-highest mountain in the range, reaching a height of 751.8 meters. While its wooded summit doesn’t offer expansive views, the hill is known for its dark, unusual rock formations that create a mysterious atmosphere. The path to the peak is marked by two dark rocks that resemble a gateway. The summit features a stone block with a carved year, the remains of an iron pole, a small stone trough, and a stone fireplace. Historically, the area was heavily utilized for logging, and remnants of past mining activities, including gold, antimony, and pyrite extraction, can still be observed in the surrounding forests. This adds a unique historical layer to the natural beauty of the location. Maybe there is somewhere the gate to hell hidden; who knows? But one thing is hidden there for sure – a penguin stone (now guarding the gate to hell 😅) thanks to  luciakontsek and loborosh. They took a penguin stone and one of my hoomans for a waddle. Look between the stones next to a tree covered with a stone.
