Bachalpsee is near First in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland. It is a breathtaking alpine lake that offers some of the most stunning views in the Swiss Alps. At an elevation of about 2,265 meters, the lake is divided into two sections by a natural dam and reflects the majestic peaks of the surrounding mountains, including the iconic Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau. The crystal-clear waters and serene environment make it a popular destination for hikers, who can reach the lake via a scenic trail from First, accessible by a cable car from Grindelwald. You can even take a swim in the lake, but beware because the water is cold. We hid the penguin stone inside the small hut on one of the wooden ceilings.
