The stream feeding the falls is part of Lake Toftir’s outflow, which eventually meets the sea, and the area is often visited by locals enjoying peaceful walks. Despite its modest size compared to giants like Múlafossur, Toftafossur carries its own quiet magic, especially when the light catches the water in the late afternoon. And now you may also stumble upon a playful surprise here: two penguin stones are hidden near the waterfall, one of them thanks to luciakontsek and loborosh, adding a touch of discovery to this already enchanting Faroese corner.
