How We Got From Seoul Airport to the City Center (and Back Again)
When we landed at Incheon Airport, we decided to start our trip the easy way, with a taxi straight to our hotel. We actually got the ride for free as a perk for booking our accommodation through Booking.com, so it felt like a perfect welcome to Seoul. Despite all the warnings about heavy traffic, we were pleasantly surprised: we landed at 14:15, left the airport around 15:00, and reached our hotel in just about 50 minutes. The ride was smooth, comfortable, and faster than expected.
For the return journey, we switched things up and took the AREX train back to the airport. It was just as comfortable and just as quick, plus we got to use the city check-in counter for our big luggage; a great tip to save time and avoid dragging suitcases across Seoul. Both options worked perfectly, giving us a stress-free start and finish to our trip.
