Lavička Václava Havla is a peaceful viewpoint in Karlovy Vary dedicated to Václav Havel, the famous Czech playwright, dissident, and the first president of the Czech Republic after the fall of communism. Havel became an important symbol of democracy and freedom in Central Europe, and similar “Havel’s Place” benches can now be found in cities around the world. From this spot, you also get a beautiful view overlooking the iconic Grandhotel Pupp, one of the town’s most legendary spa hotels. While exploring the area during their adventure, Lucia and Rosh also decided to hide a small penguin stone nearby, waiting for someone lucky enough to discover it.
