At St. John’s Fortress in Dubrovnik, we continued exploring the city. We made our way to the old port, where we checked out the lighthouse and enjoyed the beautiful views over the sea and nearby Lokrum island. The fortress itself once formed a key part of Dubrovnik’s maritime defense system, protecting the city’s harbor with its thick stone walls and strategic position right at the water’s edge. While wandering around, we found the perfect hidden spot and tucked a penguin stone away here before moving on.
