Right along the shores of Hallstatt Beach, this small lakeside spot offers some of the most iconic views over Hallstätter See, with pastel houses, the church spire, and mountains rising straight from the water. Despite its peaceful feel today, Hallstatt is one of the oldest continuously inhabited places in Europe, thanks to its rich salt deposits that date back over 7,000 years and gave the region its wealth and importance.
When lk_lh_15 and loborosh stopped here, they added their own little mark to the landscape by hiding a penguin stone, joining the growing collection of penguin stones already scattered around this beautiful town.
